Romexterra Construction is seeking a dynamic Roofing Sales Representative to join our team!


Romexterra Construction Inc is a leading construction company specializing in exterior and roofing projects. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service. 


Job Duties:

  • Drive around Chicagoland to appointments generated by our office, showcasing our products and services to potential clients (eventually we will require you to generate your own leads). Roughly 40% in the field (around 4 appointments per day), and 60% in the office.
  • Inspect both residential (90%) and commercial properties (10%) and inspect damage. Create comprehensive quotes for siding and roofing projects, taking into account all relevant factors.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and sales etiquette, ensuring a positive experience for clients throughout the sales process. Get the contract signed and submit to the insurance carrier, agree to scope of work with the insurance rep and collect the deposit. 
  • Identify and recommend the best solutions to address clients' construction problems, focusing on providing value rather than unnecessary upselling.
  • Conduct regular check-ins on ongoing projects to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
  • Maintain open and transparent communication channels with clients and the entire team to ensure a cohesive and successful work environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience filing insurance claims, claims handling, and a working knowledge of the insurance process. 
  • A working knowledge of residential roofing, gutters, siding, brick tuckpointing, an/or other related topics (2+ years experience)
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is highly desirable (2+ years)
  • Excellent ability to compose accurate quotes and proposals for construction projects (Xactimate experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach to sales.
  • Effective communication skills via phone calls, messaging platforms, and other digital tools.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a drive to achieve targets.
