Overview:

As a Residential Construction Project Manager, you'll be in charge of making sure all parts of our home reconstruction projects run smoothly. This means keeping track of schedules, budgets, and the people working on each project. You'll work with clients, contractors, and our team to make sure everything gets done right.


Job Duties:

  • Manage and finish multiple home reconstruction projects on time and within budget, keeping excellent communication with crews and the office about any changes or delays (90% will be residential, but occasionally this may include a commercial property, 10%).
  • Stay in touch with clients, insurance agents, and our team to solve any problems and make sure everyone's happy.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Track and keep an eye on the status of the project, recognizing any risks or problems and putting the necessary countermeasures in place proactively instead of reactively.
  • Keep improving how we manage projects to make our company even better.
  • Manage multiple projects at the same time and ensure that at the end of the day, the company is making a profit.

Requirements:

  • A working knowledge of residential construction including drywall, insulation, flooring, electric, HVAC, plumbing, and/or other related topics (2+ years experience).
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once with measurable results using project management software (2+ years experience).
  • Project management experience
  • Xactimate experience is a plus
  • IICRC certifications are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Effective communication skills via phone calls, messaging platforms, and other digital tools.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a drive to achieve targets.
  • Working knowledge of industry safety regulations (OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety card preferred, but not required). 
  • Works well under pressure and gets things done on time.
